Dunas Douradas Beach Club Yoga Event
Join us at the 108 Yoga Sun salutations that will take place at Dunas Douradas Beach Club next 15th May at 9.00am.
All participants should collect 10 Euros from each of their sponsors (with a minimum of 5)
All levels and ages are welcome to take part in the event.
Participants are not expected to complete all 108 salutations as it is the participation and fund raising that counts!
This charity event has the purpose of raising funds for the Pirilampos Children Home, run by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Albufeira, which houses 20 children. The home accepts boys and girls so brothers and sisters can stay together.
Money raised at this event will go to the “Amigos das Crianças” bank accont, that helps Sta Casa with repairs, improvements, clothing, bedding, trips, dental and optician expenses.

Race at Braga - Portuguese Championship
We had some problems with the car (Gear Box broken) and we were not able to race. It was bad in terms of Championship, but it was excelent in terms of advertisement.
Has we couldn't race we had plenty of time to prepare our "stand" and make a good marketing campaign.
We prepared a beautiful "display" with two fantastic cars, and off course our table with drinks and brochures, our DDBC wall and the TV with the sponsors videos.
Everybody was stoping to see cars (and take some brochures as well). It was great to see lots of people looking at our car and also asking information about the sponsors.
Overall, even not racing it was a great weekend.

Long Term Stays @ Dunas Beach Club Algarve
Come and stay at the Dunas Douradas Beach Club
Wipe away those Winter Blues with a quiet and relaxing time in pleasant Southern European temperatures in a sea-view apartment in a fabulous five-star setting, but with the economy of a self-catering resort.
Daily prices are €120 for a one-bedroom apartment, €140 for a two-bedroom apartment, €160 for a three-bedroom apartment or €500 for a detached villa. For our long-term promotion, the longer you stay, the more discount you get:
- For stays of more than one week 10% discount
- For stays of three weeks or longer 20% discount
- For stays of six weeks or longer 25% discount
- For stays of seven weeks 30% discount
- For stays of more than two months 35% discount
Stays of three weeks and over will have a restricted maid-service, more in keeping with the long-term self-catering arrangements that can make these packages more economical. Guests will have the apartment fully-equiped on arrival with linen, two sets of towels, detergents, soap etc. The maids will come in once per week to change the bed linen. During the rest of the stay, you may call reception and request any cleaning or laundry services extra that you may require, or you may do it yourself, as if you were at home.
