On 13th
October, the first ever quiz night was held at the Dunas Douradas BeachClub.
The event
was a special quiz for owners, with a theme of “How much do you know about the
Beach Club, the Algarve and Portugal”. About 70% of the questions were
theme related, with a particularly difficult general knowledge round at the end
to test the best.
A small but
enthusiastic group of owners took part, giving a thrilling competition between
two good-spirited rival teams. The photograph above, taken at the end of
the competition, shows that the rivalry did not come between the great
friendship that exists among them.
The
experiment showed that the Beach Club is an excellent location for a quiz
evening event and it is hoped that it will be repeated again in the future.
